Reporting an Incident

Rapid Incident Reporting has an intuitive interface that makes it simple and non-confronting for anyone to record an incident. Users can login and start recording an incident immediately without having to go through any lengthy process.

  • When the recording of an incident begins, Rapid Incident Reporting changes to show only the relevant items that are associated with such an incident. IE: If the incident is Property related and there are no injuries, the injury classification section is hidden from view.

  • As the information is entered, Rapid Incident Reporting builds the distribution list through the customisable organisation chart, it knows who has to see the Incident Report and automatically sends it off to them by email.

  • The appropriate people immediately become aware of the issue and can comment on the incident.

  • All the items inside the system are customisable. For example, if you call a "near miss" another name like "dangerous event" you can change it on the settings tab.

  • As with any Incident reporting system the real benefit is in the reporting and that's where Rapid Incident Reporting shines. You can create customised reports that sections of the business can run to get up to date snapshots of how they are performing in relation to safety. These reports allow for 'on the run' drill down of data so you can really get to the bottom of why incidents are occurring. Simply run a graph report and then click on the portion of the graph you want to drill down to. It's that easy!
