Corrective Actions

Corrective and preventive actions are key elements to any safety system that is focused on continual improvement. Additionally, critically evaluating and clearly understanding the root cause is the foundation for implementing effective corrective actions. Rapid Incident Reporting allows for corrective and preventative actions to be assigned through the process of Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

The ultimate goal of Root Cause Analysis is to eliminate the actual cause of the problem. In Rapid Incident Reporting, a corrective action, or a series of actions, can be implemented to eliminate the cause - thereby eliminating the possibility of recurrence. In Rapid Incident Reporting you can build a series of selectable root causes for users to select when investigating an incident and then, on the fly, they can assign a corrective action or series of actions associated with that cause, to prevent the incident from re-occurring. The bonus of course, is that having a selectable set of root causes allows for Rapid Incident Reporting to report on your root causes.
